Yes it's sheer but safe sheerness to the point that it's not almost noticeable. I am trans so I tend to have bigger bones/built to cis women, so i ordered a uk size 12, but girl! Size down! I think I can go uk size 8 since the polyamide material is so stretchy and forgivable, so it's really big for me but I don't mind the baggy look.
Next time imma order on their polyamide dresses i will surely size down. :) Nevertheless, it's so beautiful and such a knockout!
