CHIEF GROWTH OFFICER
Reporting Line: Joint CEOs
Job Purpose:
This role is responsible for leading the next stage of growth for Jaded Ldn and will repor directly to the founders. In this newly created role you will be the first C suite addition to the business and will oversee marketing, B&M, operations and production and will be a critical stakeholder within the organisation.

Key Relationships:
Internally – Founders, head of finance, head of acquisition, head of ecommerce, brand marketing team, communication teams, Web Development Team, Brand B+M Teams.
Key accountabilities and KPIs include:
· Deliver the Objectives for Jaded London;
· £100m profitable revenue by 2025 (Jaded already materially profitable);
· Formalise a short/medium/long-term strategy with clear steps on how to execute and achieve targets
· Ensure that Jaded has the right team and resources to meet its objectives
· Establish a Corporate / Social Responsibility Programme;
· Own the P&L - Challenge each function to deliver their objectives.
· Ensure ‘today’s’ P&L is delivered while planning / reviewing to continue growth ‘tomorrow’;
· Build our People & Culture:
· Develop and build commercial (but fast/agile) processes with the Co-Founders
Product:
Develop/enhance the sourcing, buying, merchandising and planning activities alongside greater codification of what makes Jaded famous and desirable;
Brand:
· Move from daily re-active fire-fighting to proactive planning, which is still agile and easy to change.
· Bring a commercial lens to influencerupper funnel activity to understand wider customer acquisition attribution;
· Own the remaining functions across the business where their co-founders are not active:
· Marketing: develop function to market leading activity with Paid Media, channel leads
· Trading: develop function build out the additional international store fronts (clones) and/or deeper product category manage, visual merchandising and conversion rate optimisation;
· Operations: develop a fulfillment / logistics function which delights and delivers the promise made to Jaded’s customers and ensures its market matching in terms of features / services we offer Jaded customers vs peer group brands / retailers;
· Data/Insight: build / launch an insight function which helps the business make better decisions, moving from gut feel / subjective only to a balance of objective and subjective. A function that brings INSIGHT (so what) to the business not just an overload of data;
· Tech: build / launch a function which builds the right tools the business needs to operate, which are secure / compliant with regulatory requirements;
· Finance: support the existing / growing finance team to enable Jaded with the financial management and controls necessary to support all business activities in a legal / compliant way;
· People/Talent: Build the team with the right talent and best culture, a team of driven doers with high IQ & EQ. Mentor co-founders and help them transition from family start-up to more sophisticated fast growth / scale up (not corporate);
· Enhance Jaded’s Strategy: along with Jaded’s shareholders, board, board-advisors further codify the strategy (where Jaded plays: Products, Target Audience, Sales Channels & Geographies & how Jaded wins: how Jaded operates, how it behaves etc) to give Jaded thebest possible chance of hitting its objectives
· Keep up to date with eCommerce best practice of tomorrow through training, research etc;
Behaviors: Measure/Requirement:
· Motivated to add value and deliver business change in challenging environment
· Resilient; prepared to tackle problems head on and persist despite setbacks or difficulties
· *3-5+ years’ experience as MD/GM or senior commercial (P&L ownership) role in a direct to consumer eCommerce brand, ideally within the fashion / apparel category
· Evidence of working with high EQ / artistic founders and building a foundation which unblocks growth functionally across the business
· Evidence of building more harmony / collaboration (removing silos) across the business
· Building a positive performance / team culture with high employer NPS
· Experience of growing a brand and taking it into new territories (specifically USA)
· Have great understanding of retail, eCommerce and marketing businesses
· You’re a ‘natural retailer’; obsessed with delivering your promise to customers
· Have a proven track record as a commercial individual, who understands brand and customer (shopper)
· Intellectual and emotional intelligence in balanced / equal measure
· Understand how to maximise output in conversion activity where a mix of skill / talent types is required (data analysis vs creative visual merchandising and UX are quite different approaches)
· Are a ‘subjective’ thinker in terms of ideas, following your instinct, but you’ll be used to using internal/external data to underpin your ideas with confidence
· You are independent and self-directed but able to work and lead a team of creative individuals
· Have superior analytical skills to track and manage performance
· Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to persuasively sell ideas
· Effectively navigate and collaborate cross-functionally
· Are an outcomes focused manager, with strong team orientation
· Are bullish about Jaded London and its potential retail experience
